In 2010, Get Storied produced the first Reinvention Summit, a two-week long interactive event on the future of storytelling. This global gathering took place online with 37 speakers, 560 attendees, 5,000 tweets, and more than 40 countries represented. Our tribe gathered to learn from all-star line-up of storytelling experts including Nancy Duarte, John Gerzema, Annette Simmons, John Elkington, David Siteman Garland, Alexis Neely, Steve Denning, Lance Weiler and many more. People also made invigorating new connections with clients and collaborators by using our Summit’s peer-to-peer social networking tools.

Lisa Creech Bledsoe, Executive Producer

When I’m not in the boxing ring, I help online organizations kick ass with winning development and launch strategies that go the distance. I started out writing (still my first love) and designing interactive museum exhibits, and over the years I’ve helped launch everything from new churches (really!) to new businesses and products for my clients.

At Get Storied I am the woman with a dozen arms who calmly orchestrates multiple processes while sitting in the middle of a lotus flower. I’m sure I smell quite lovely.

The Vosges Red Fire Bar with Mexican ancho & chipotle chillies, Ceylon cinnamon, and dark chocolate makes me swoon. I like mine with a snifter of Glenlivet single malt whiskey, neat. Please don’t mention the contents of this particular paragraph to my boxing trainer; he thinks I only eat raw broccoli.

Jodi Bepler, Operations

As the Operations chick behind Get Storied, Reinvention Summit and Story University my role is ever evolving. I serve as a team coordinator, problem solver, customer service agent, and a Concierge for The New About Me and the Reinvention Summit.

As a recovering geek, I enjoy new technologies and implement the latest systems and gadgets. I thrive on checklists and keeping our multiple projects on task. I am the happy voice on the other end of the line, even when wrestling with web monkeys and auto-bot invasions.

A Midwestern girl through and through, I love spending time on Lake Michigan with my family soaking up the sun. I live just miles from the campus of Michigan State University, where I fell in love with my husband and with the color green. I am an avid college basketball fan. March Madness is my favorite season, the MSU Spartans are my favorite team, and yes, my bracket says they are going to the final four again in 2012.
